About
Mikelle is a third generation resident of Costa Mesa. She graduated from UCLA in 1995 and has since become a community leader specializing in operational transformation, community outreach, and financial systems for small to mid-sized businesses. Since 2006, she has been the owner and operator of Bookworks Financial, which provides bookkeeping and financial management services. She has also served on the City of Costa Mesa Historical Preservation Committee and is currently the President of the Costa Mesa Historical Society. Mikelle has a deep love for her community, and is passionate about ensuring that our local water systems are environmentally sound, protected, and affordable. Water is life, and it is imperative that those who represent our community on local water boards are not beholden to special interests. Mikelle is running on affordability, fiscal responsibility, and commitment to long term planning for conservation and sustainability.
